​Student Showcase 2019!
Can you believe that it is almost the end of the school year already? Think back to the first couple days of school when you opened your door to many new faces. During those first weeks you worked tirelessly to teach them your classroom rituals and routines, get to know them and their families, and try to start teaching them rigorous content.  Every day may not have been easy, but they were all worth it. Throughout these past eight months you have taught your students not only academically but also socially and emotionally. You have seen them do amazing things inside and outside the classroom. You may have seen a challenging student become a classroom leader or a struggling reader learn to love to read. Whatever it may be that you saw them grow in, it is time to tell them how much that means to us by bringing them to the 2019 Student Showcase. This is a time when we can recognize our students for all of the hard work they have put in throughout the year. We can also show their families and friends how proud of them we are and how much they have grown since the first day. This will be a moment they never forget when a teacher recognizes them for all great things that they have accomplished! You can recognize them in the following categories: Social, Political, Cultural Consciousness, Academic Achievement, or Personal Growth. No matter the category or the accomplishment, take the time to recognize them and make it a day they will never forget!
